It definitely delivers as a time-lapse app

It already has a lot of customizable features...
- frequency of shots
- portrait or landscape position
- exposure, focus, and other settings (can be automatic, manually adjusted, and locked)
- FPS of rendered video
- sharing your video
- another additional features (ex. adding music)

Im not sure what else you could add since any additional editing can be done on the compute. If too many features are added, the app might become laggy and have a lot of bugs.
